Sustained Growth in the U.K.
August 16, 2022
Kinetic Chairman and CEO Matthew J. Beem, PhD, CFRE is excited to meet with NGOs in the United Kingdom during two week-long visits this summer and fall. Kinetic continues to expand its international presence as it responds to increasing global demand for its unique approach to equipping staff, empowering volunteers and inspiring donors.
“Our commitment to helping nonprofits unleash their power of philanthropy extends to every corner of the world. We understand that an organization’s entire culture—the synergy of its donors, volunteers and staff—is greater than the sum of its parts. Our team looks forward to sharing its unique and impactful approach to fundraising with organizations this year in the UK and elsewhere in the future.”
Matt will be meeting with Kinetic’s newest UK client, The Gradel Institute of Charity at New College-Oxford University, as well as with its collaborative network of institutions and dozens of NGOs in London, Oxford and elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
In the last 20 years, Kinetic has served clients in all 50 states, Canada, 30 European nations, Australia and countries in Central and South America.

GIC is part of an independent think-tank with Charity Futures, which seeks to preserve the long-term sustainability of charities. The Gradel Institute of Charity will occupy the new tower, which will be completed later this year.

Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy, Plymouth UK
Building on a multi-year relationship supporting the creation and growth of the Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy (IfSP), Matt has amplified his commitment, and his family’s shared support for IfSP, through personal philanthropy.
“Kate and I have each benefitted in unique and powerful ways from a wide array of nonprofit organizations in our community, across the United States and around the world. As we considered and made our multi-year gift to IfSP, our largest-ever, we agreed there was no more impactful, leveraged way to invest our charitable dollars. It remains an honor to support and be associated with the Institute.”
Matt also serves on IfSP’s board and is the organization’s inaugural board chair. Adrian Sargeant, PhD and Jen Shang, PhD are Co-founders and Co-directors of IfSP. Jen is the world’s first PhD in Philanthropy as well as the world’s only philanthropic psychologist. Adrian designed the UK’s system of professional education for fundraisers and is currently working on the European qualification framework for the European Fundraising Association.
Adrian is also a member of the Kinetic Global Advisory Council.
