While I’ve been in the fundraising consulting business with Kinetic for 20 years, I still love a good opportunity to expand my knowledge and network with colleagues. The 4th annual Power of Philanthropy Summit on January 26, 2024 provided just that!

In partnership with UMKC Midwest Center for Nonprofit Leadership, our first hybrid Summit, with over 400 participants in person and via Zoom, featured Una Osili, Ph.D., Professor of Economics and Associate Dean for Research and International Programs with the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University. She presented research from her study: What Americans Think of Philanthropy and Nonprofits.
 

Following Dr. Osili’s presentation, Kinetic Chairman and CEO Matt Beem moderated an energetic virtual panel discussion of leading philanthropists and philanthropic leaders including Kimberly Beatty, Ph.D., Chancellor, Metropolitan Community College; Tim Dunn, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, JE Dunn; and Craig Ramsey, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, College Baseball Foundation and Hall of Fame.
