Lisa Wiens Thompson received her Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Ministry from Southern Methodist University and her Master of Divinity from Duke University. Before beginning her work in church ministry Lisa worked with the Boys & Girls Club of East Dallas as the Teen Center Director. As an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church Lisa has served as senior pastor to three congregations. Fundraising for missions and extension ministries (camps, campus ministries, urban ministry settings) is a part of her ministry. Lisa has participated in highly successful fundraising challenges for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with Team in Training and the Multiple Sclerosis Walk.
